	A Hero Departs and a Guardian Angel is Born to All who have been touched by him. / Jean-Paul (Montreal-Canada) (none) Hello To the Members of the Davis Family and Friends....... I belong to a Bereavement group http://www.thebereavementjourney.com . It has been a group that has helped me tremendously after the sudden departure of my 29 year old partner, after a two year battle with aids. Joel's story and pictures,as told on this Web-Site has touched me greatly. It is a truly fitting and genuine gesture to have used much energy and time to put all this together here... to comemorate this great individual and expose it to the WORLD. Thank-you to those who have worked so hard to inform us! His memory and memorable act of HEROISM will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who those whose lives he touched. This site has additionally touched outright strangers (like myself)! My sincerest condolences and sympathy truly go out to all his immediate Family and numerous friends! His legacy of looking out for his fellow man to the point of putting his life at risk is certainly a lesson we learn about the kind of person he truly was! A real human-being! We who are left behind in the sudden loss of a loved-one have a very special gift locked-up within us: The precious memory of the uniqueness of such special compassionate individuals.... !
