Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joel Davis who was born in Louisiana on February 22, 1977 and passed away on May 02, 2005 at the age of 28. We will remember him forever.  He will forever be a hero in our hearts.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13

A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.

Nothing is given to man on earth - struggle is built into the nature of life, and conflict is possible - the hero is the man who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the values he has chosen.

When you were born, an angel smiled,
As you became a child, an angel sat on your shoulder
When you became an adult, an angel held your hand
As you grew old, an angel walked down the road with you,
And, when you died, another angel got their wings.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!

I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, t...  Continue >>

His legacy
Goodbye, My Brother
Goodbye, My Brother

Brother you were an awesome guy,
I don't know why you had to die.
You were so cute as a little boy,
You smiled a lot and brought us joy.

Even though we had our little fights,
Stewing over our silly plights,
I never meant to be a pest,
I always knew you were the best.

Brother, I'm glad those times, were only a few,
It was hard for me to argue with you,
But that's just me, as you are you,
And in the end you always came through.

Now you're gone and our hearts are broken,
There are so many words left unspoken.

What you will never know,
Is how hard it is to let you go.
But it's the happy thoughts that will get us through,
Memories of all the fun we shared with you.

Until the day we meet again,
I hope you know my love will remain.
